I've been really busy lately and didn't gets any chance to draw or sketch past couple weeks. Also there are holidays coming up Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

Busy, busy, busy and never ending of busy

I have a been really busy between home and work once again. I don't gets much free time at home after I gets home work. There are a lot of works need to be done before winter season and holidays season. I should be caught up very soon after I begins slow down. I knows that's I'm about a week behind of 30 Characters challenge and hoping catch up on Saturday.

Graphic Novel & Detroit Tigers

Not very much going on past week. I did more works of finish touches on the Detroit Tigers to looks awesome and hear someone say "I wants it." I have to check on the copyright before I sell on eBay.

And my daughter recently check out graphic novel from her school library and called Zita the Spacegirl by Ben Hakta. It was very awesome kid graphic novel ever I read and added into wish list at Amazon.com for her christmas wish list.

Detroit Tigers

I been watch Detroit Tiger game score on smartphone about whole season. I'm not really huge fan of Tiger, I'm 100% true Chicago Cubs fan and this drawing I did for Tigers to show them Thank you for incredible awesome season. They're so close gets into World Series.

Gone to fishing...

I was out to fishing last week with my dad and his friends Steve, Rick and Jared. We have a wonderful time and total caught is 16 salmons out from Pere Marquette River in Ludington, MI.

Here is another watercolor painting of Rainbow Trout to very good friend Rick for his birthday gift from me. 9"x12" from pencil to marker to watercolor painting and takes me total three hours.

Women of Wonder Day 2011

My third annual donated my time and work of mixed media 11x17 of Wonder Woman artwork to Women of Wonder Day for to support Family Violence Prevention Service in San Antonio, Texas.

Am I mad, glad or sad? Well, I'm all of them - sad, mad and glad at same time. Recently I read article from Comic Book Resource site about Mike Meyer who is a really true Superman fan and been robbed. He have a incredible Superman collections from comic book to action figure since he was 10 years old. Fully story at St. Louis Today site.

Sad - His Superman collections been stolen.
Mad - I'm very mad at theif who steal his collection because he's mental disability. That's plain stupid.
Glad - I can do something to cheer him up.

I draw/watercolor Superman as myself on 6"x9" watercolor paper over weekend.

Cowabunga Dude!

On week of August 15, I been sketches of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for friend's four year son going to have TMNT theme birthday party. He loves TMNT nobody business, she said to me. So I draw face of turtle on 8x11 paper to make mask that's they could color it and wear it. Also I draw nice decent drawing of Michelangelo for him from me.


I used to loves TNMT back in my childhood, watched all movies and old school animated series. My favorite character is Raphael and have action figure of him. Recently I didn't know my wife love TMNT too and her favorite character is Michelangelo.

Paintball Funs

On hot sunny afternoon of July 24th Sunday, I went to play paintball very first time at Excabilur Paintball with large group of friends from church. I have extremely wonderful time, wants do it again and own paintball gun down the road.

Their fourteen of us, thirteen guys and one gal. It was prefect day come down to play and their are no other group whole time we there from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Which that's awesome and gives us wide range freedom to choose course. Only bad thing whole time we there is HOT, 85 and heat index about 95/100. I really totally soaks my clothes from my sweats. Otherwise I'm good, still breathing and we have really good time.

Well today is our happy anniversary, been married nine years and counting. Happy anniversary babe if you read this, I always love you forever because you are awesome friend.

Shattered

Stress + disappointment + angry + yells + breaking apart + broken + damages + unstoppable + talk back + not follow instruction + not listen + argument + fight = 100% pure not healthy for our life and especially for marriage and that's my biggest fear.

Believe it or not, all that's cause from a child have extremely bad meltdown after been told no for not watch TV after 7pm or after finish dinner. We must stay strong, control our anger and not let your child controlling you who is the boss. No means no and period!

This piece I spend a lot of time from 2H 2mm lead pencil to Prismcolor markers to watercolor paint on 11"x14" watercolor paper. Three process - before watercolor paint, painted and framed.

I haven't decide to keep or try sell it. I'll let you know next week post with full details.

First week of August is Shark Week on Discovery Channel. My family and I always loves watch tv shows about sharks. Sure they do rule the sea nobody business and they likes to eat pretty much anything....

I draw last minute cartoonist their 34' airstream trailer to them as "Thank you" gift for have me be part of Aha Moment campaign. I have really good time and takes a lot of real man gut to show and shares them my Aha Moment. It was really hard that's I was so nerves and shaking at same time. I can feels jitter behind bottom of my jaw when I talks front of camera. Jessica stand behind the camera, asks me what is my aha moment and she was very hopeful to keeps me comfortable. Then I don't feels nerves anymore after we wrapped up.

Discgolf

I remember on my 17th or 18th birthday, I received a discgolf starter kit from my brother and we went out to Grand Wood Park with some friends. It was very fun sport and has really great time. When we gets to course #6 "the water hole course" where most people lost their disc into the pond. One of my disc went into the water and want it back. So I swim in the pond looking for my disc. About 59 discs later, finally found my disc and bring home all disc I found from the pond. I never forget that day my brother laughing so hard I pull that many disc out the pond.
